Kim Marvin Russell

Kim has always had a love for people. That love has directed her adult life – first through raising and home educating her four sons to serving as a department leader with a global ministry. Since receiving her degree in visual arts, Kim is now blessed and honored to serve in a completely different way – creating a timeless moment in oil or graphite for her clients. Capturing the intensity, intimacy or mood of a moment is what thrills Kim as an artist. When she prepares for a portrait, the first thing Kim studies is the subject’s expression and the emotion behind it. Young or old, teenager or forty-something… Kim is fascinated by how unique we all are. Kim also has a passion for animals, who experience their own moods and hold their own beauty. Pets are family, and Kim currently has two brother cats living with her. When not working on art, Kim enjoys being a Nana to her five grandkids.  Kim is available for commission work at kimmarvinart@gmail.com and www.shinylifeart.com.
